One of the rare and lucky few who knew his calling from an early age, Rodney bought his first camera at age 13, photographed his first event at age 16 and launched Photojournalism by Rodney Bailey two years later. Rodney is now one of the most sought-after event photographers and recognized as a “leading trendsetter in the photography industry” by Rangefinder Magazine. His life-long passion has taken him all over the United States, Caribbean, Virgin Islands, Mexico, Italy, Spain and Asia, including documenting Oprah Winfrey’s “Live Your Best Life” Tour. Rodney’s work is published throughout event and photography industry publications, textbooks and coffee books on events, food and travel and leisure. During his down time, Rodney enjoys traveling with his wife, Darcy, and their daughter. Always the artist, he can still be found behind the camera; however, his subjects are sharks and sea life as he is an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer.
