And nothing could be truer for Meredith and William. To celebrate the love they found with one another, the two decided to have a luxurious and intimate wedding at The Hays-Adams Hotel in the heart of Washington DC. Their classic wedding was coordinated by Beacon and Berkeley Events and was nothing short of a modern day fairytale.

Meredith’s day started off getting ready with her 3 bridesmaids, keeping with their small and intimate feel they so wanted. The girls cheered with champagne and were ready for the day’s events to be underway. William’s day started off much the same, putting the final touches on his tux with his groomsmen. It was then time for the ceremony.

The ceremony took place in the Hays-Adams Room, the namesake room of the hotel. Edge Floral Design provided exquisite floral arrangements for the room, taking its debonair look of dark wood and brass detail finishes and giving it a softer, elegant look perfect for a lavish wedding. The floral garland of white roses popped against the dark mahogany of the fireplace, serving as the altar. The white candles in the towering candle vases provided the perfect romantic touch. Meredith’s father walked her down the white carpet aisle to the man of her dreams. The two said “I Do,” and sealed their love with a kiss.

The couple’s ceremony took place at The Top of The Hay, a stunning reception room with surrounding french doors allowing not only access to their gorgeous balcony but brilliant panoramic views of the Nation’s Capital landmarks, such as The White House and The National Monument, and vaulted skylights. A classic black and white art deco dance floor kept everyone dancing the night away. Congratulations, Meredith and William!
