It’s the best way to get comfortable in front of our cameras, build trust with your photographers, and create stunning, authentic images that reflect who you are as a couple.
How long is an engagement session?
Typically 1–2 hours, giving us plenty of time for multiple looks, locations, and natural moments without feeling rushed.
Where do you recommend shooting engagement sessions in the DC area?
Iconic spots like Old Town Alexandria, Georgetown cobblestone streets, the National Mall at sunset, Lincoln Memorial, or scenic gardens like Meadowlark Gardens in Virginia and Brookside Gardens in Maryland —plus hidden gems tailored to your vibe.
Can we choose our own location?
Absolutely! We love personal spots—your favorite park, coffee shop, or even your home. We’ll help scout and suggest based on lighting and meaning to you.
What should we wear?
We recommend 1–2 coordinated outfits that feel like “you”—one casual, one dressier. Solid colors and textures photograph best; think layers that can be added or peeled away to create a variety of looks with ease.
Can we bring our dog or props?
Yes! Pets, heirlooms, picnic blankets, or anything meaningful—we encourage elements that make the session uniquely yours.
Are engagement sessions included in wedding packages?
They can be bundled into most collections or added separately. Many couples choose to include them for the full experience.
How many photos will we receive?
You’ll get 200-400+ beautifully edited, high-resolution digital images in an online gallery, with full printing rights.
When should we schedule our engagement session?
