We absolutely love when couples chose unique venues that have special meaning to them. It makes the experience all the more romantic and heartful, lending to candid moments and authentic images. Especially when the venue has family significance, the images serve as beautiful family heirlooms to be passed down and treasured for generations.

Hannah and Sanders celebrated their wedding day at the groom’s private family farm in Maryland. His bride-to-be is a lover of everything equestrian, and Hannah spent the morning on her wedding day tending to the horses and later gathered with her bridesmaids in the rustic barn to prepare for her big day. We couldn’t imagine a dreamier way to start the day. She was certainly one of the most down-to-earth, genuine brides we have ever met. Hannah was completely in her element, and it showed in her breathtaking wedding day bridals – she was truly glowing.

Despite the rainy May day, Sanders and Hannah enjoyed their first look outdoors – while the horses peered from the behind the barn door, of course. The soft steamy fog rising from the vibrant green grass was a photographer’s dream backdrop. Paired with Hannah’s cathedral veil and gorgeous custom wedding dress (that you just have to see below to believe), these portraits were something that many couples dream of. The rainy day did not stop this amazing couple or their talented team of wedding pros from pulling off the most beautiful, rustic farm wedding. Congratulations to this lovely couple!
