Roger Whyte and Jared Silk’s wedding at Long View Gallery was featured in Washingtonian Bride & Groom Magazine for the Summer/Fall 2017 issue. The couple’s wedding décor combined Roger’s love of entertaining and Jared’s love of the outdoors in a “Woodland Chic” wedding theme. The wedding ceremony and reception were masterfully planned by Roger’s DC event company, RJ Whyte Event Production, and held at the modern and unique Long View Gallery.

Tell us about your wedding day plans?
“Our wedding is all about us and our guests having an amazing experience. Guests will come in for an awesome ceremony that is meaningful and full of surprises. We want multiple moments of WOW throughout the whole night.”

Wedding theme?
“Woodland Chic. Basically the best of a redwood forest meets masculine chic.”

Tell us something special or unique about yourselves.
“Humor plays a big part in our lives. We love to laugh! Roger loves to do things to impress Jared. We love to spend time with our dog Maddie and spoil her rotten.”

What are you most excited about your wedding?
“We are most excited celebrating a day with our friends and family!”
