Beauty, conservation, education and discovery flourish throughout the year at this 95 acre complex of large ornamental display gardens and unique native plant collections. Walking trails, lakes, more than twenty varieties of cherry trees, irises, peonies, an extensive shade garden, native wildflowers, gazebos, birds, butterflies, seasonal blooms and foliage create a sanctuary of beauty and nature.”
Denitsa and Junis’ engagement session in Northern Virginia at Meadowlark Gardens was amazing! We photographed in the summer and the gardens were gorgeous.
What did you and where did you go on your First Date?
Denitsa & Junis: “We went to Cafe Milano in Georgetown for dinner during Halloween.”
How long did you date before getting engaged?
Denitsa & Junis: “2.5 years”
How and where did you get engaged?
Denitsa & Junis: “We got engaged on the Waterfront steps of Georgetown late in the night, after cappuccino and dessert (a small date-night tradition of ours – to go out for cappuccino and dessert).”

Denitsa: “Being able to share my love for Jay with family and friends.”
Junis: “Making my union with Dee official and celebrating it with family and friends.”
Tell us about your wedding day plans?
Denitsa & Junis: “We are planning a small, very intimate wedding, only for close friends and immediate family. The wedding theme is a mid-summer romantic garden with lanterns, candles and bistro lights.”
