Meridian House Venue Feature | Wedding Photographers Washington DC
The opportunity to photograph this stunning wedding was an absolute dream. The Meridian House offers so much variety for weddings and events. The gardens and courtyard are perfect for romantic outdoor images. While the outside of the building is filled with gorgeous architectural details and large, reflective windows. It was designed by the renowned architect John Russell Pope. He also designed the Jefferson Memorial, the National Gallery of Art (West Building) and the National Archives. Needless to say the Meridian House is one of our all time favorite venues for our team of Wedding Photographers Washington DC.
The Meridian House is adjacent to the White-Meyer House in Washington, DC. They are surrounded by striking gardens and courtyards which form a city block of incredible historic and architectural interest Both of these houses are extremely unique and provide plenty of space for your next event. They host corporate conferences, weddings, special events, receptions, and more!
The inside of the building features expansive ceilings, grand crystal chandeliers, and intricate gold detailing. Dripping in decadence, the main dining room even has a large marble fireplace. The tall doors and draped windows provide the venue with an elegance fit for the Royal Family. Their intimate, outdoor courtyard can be adorned with twinkling lights around the trees which adds another touch of romance and magic to the space.
