Wedding Photographer in Washington DC Captures Gorgeous Engagement Session

I have always found it enlightening that love is still very present in our modern day culture. There’s so much going on in this world, that we sometimes forget about the beautiful love stories constantly unfolding around us. As a wedding photographer in Washington DC, I have the privilege of meeting some of the best couples out there and capturing the love that binds them together.

Let the Fun Begin

The love and joy captured during this session was more than inspiring. These two have a love for one another that is both undeniable and unconditional, there’s truly nothing more beautiful in our world. After their proposal, it was time  for the wedding planning fun to begin! But before they could start searching for the perfect venue, dress, florist and more, they took the time to stop and treasure this momentous time in their lives. They reached out and booked this session with us to capture the first step in their journey together towards marriage.

Incorporating Personal Touches

One thing that I always try to do for my clients is give them the opportunity to add any personal touches to their session in order to make it more memorable and special. These two had a vision of standing under the Washington Monument, one of the tallest and most iconic structures in D.C. Of course, I was more than thrilled to make this vision a reality. We toured the area, taking pictures as we took in the beautiful scenery. This location was the perfect place for a romantic engagement session. The weather and lighting was perfect, and luckily the crowds were at a minimum. These two have amazing chemistry together, and it shows throughout their entire collection. One of my favorite spots we visited was in front of the rippling water. It made for a gorgeous backdrop as they snuggled with one another. Simple perfection!

All in all, we had a wonderful day sight-seeing and capturing some amazing moments between these two. I am thrilled to have worked with some amazing folks, and wish them the best as they go on this journey of life and love together.
