Natalie and Sadek wanted to have their engagement session in Georgetown, Washington DC. I met up with the couple on the corner of M Street and Wisconsin Avenue on a beautiful day in November. I especially love the photographs of Natalie and Sadek playing in the fallen leaves!
How and where did you meet?
“We met at Penn State, but once Natalie moved down to DC from Pittsburgh after college we started hanging out and dating right away.”
What did you and where did you go on your first date?
“We went to BLT Steak DC for dinner, drinks at Sushi Rock and also watched the movie Ted.”
How and where did you get engaged?
“Sadek proposed at the Georgetown Waterfront near the fountains. He told me we were meeting his family for dinner at the Waterfront, then proposed and took me to BLT – where I thought we were having dinner to celebrate. Instead, we got to the rooftop of BLT and he had planned an engagement party for us, with my parents, grandparents, friends from college who came from out of town and our family and friends in DC. I was shocked!”
Tell us something special or unique about your Groom?
“He is a very kind, good hearted man who has a special talent for reading people. He can talk to anyone, about anything and make them feel comfortable. He is very driven and has high expectations for himself.”
Tell us something special or unique about your Bride?
“Besides being the most beautiful lady I have ever laid my eyes on – she has the largest heart I have ever encountered in a person. Natalie is truly a blessing – kind, sweet and smart. At times, she can be quiet, but when she speaks everyone listens – and when she smiles it brightens up the whole room. A sweet person I can’t live without. I just love her!”
“Classic and elegant – mostly white decorations with up lighting hopefully at Woodrow Wilson Plaza at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.”
Georgetown, Washington DC makes a beautiful setting for engagement session photography.
