Strong Mansion
“Strong Mansion is located on Sugarloaf Mountain in Dickerson, Maryland. The historic home is one hour from both Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Sugarloaf Mountain is a Registered Natural Landmark because of its geological and natural history interest. The serene property encompasses 3,000 acres surrounded by the native beauty of the views and forest.”
Strong Mansion and its grounds provide a picturesque setting for weddings:
- “There are three stunning spots for outdoor ceremonies. Formal gardens, views of the surrounding trees and hills, a peaceful pond with a trickling fountain at its center—this estate abounds with pretty places to say your vows.”
- “Receptions can be held indoors or out. The mansion has an intimate ballroom with a gleaming floor, period furnishings, and big, arched windows to let in the light. Larger celebrations may be held on the outdoor terrace under the festive tent, which is outfitted with doors that open to reveal the beautiful property and scenery beyond.”
